Carrie was born and raised in Northern Idaho, where she lived until she was 28 years old. In 2002, Carrie was invited by franchisee Scott Hatter, with whom she had worked previously, to join him in a new venture with Baja Fresh. She and her husband opened the first two stores in December 2002. Carrie then helped to open a third location. "I have been with Baja Fresh for nine years – a decision that has afforded me the opportunity to work for a great company that I can be proud of," she says.

Throughout school, soccer was very important to Jose – he developed the ability on the field to lead others and to teach them to value working as a team. Jose’s experiences as a guide and mentor have assisted him in his experience as a manager at Baja Fresh. "I am responsible for pushing the staff to victory each day. I enjoy working for this company as it has provided me advancement and the motivation I need to continue pushing myself further as a professional," Jose says.

Rami grew up in California and he always loved to be in the kitchen, watching his parents cook. His father owned a pizza place and he knew he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps. In 2006, Rami and his family moved to Arizona, which is where he began working for Baja Fresh. "I love to work with and around food and I really enjoy providing the best customer service that I can," he says.

Anthony and his family came to the United States in 2008 and he immediately began looking for a job. His mother and siblings live in the San Diego area, while he lives with his uncle a few hours north in Cypress, CA. "My family and I have gone through a lot of hardships – financial and emotional problems – but through the grace of God, we were able to overcome them," Anthony says. He has now worked with Baja Fresh for two years.
